Info and Help

 Info and Help

1. Each Designs has a Color Chart JPG.

Example: Art DecoVIP3.zip

                JPG

————————————————————

On this Info and help page I will explain what I have found to be the best thing to do.

2. I use Embird or Generations to do all of my Digitizing

I save in  DST & VIP3 and then Go to Embird and convert them to the PES, Hus, JEF … But the Colors Will Change. so when you open a design look at the  JPG that matches that design, place your colors in that order and all will be OK again.

If you require to see a Real Stitch out of each Design just email and I will send the JPEG to you. I will leave trims or wrinkles in fabric so you can see the pull or problems a design may have.. or see that it is a real stitch out.

When Just starting out, you could hoop and stitch out a design 3 or 4 times and get Different Results… it takes time and Practice to get the same each time.

3. To me the Number one problem a new owner or Embroider will have is  (Machine Tension) on their machine is not right!!!!

It will cause the whole Design to be off. so please always check and make sure your Machine Tension is correct!

you should do some fonts or maybe a bunch of H’s

when you turn it over no matter how wide the Satin Stitch!!! you should have:

one part top color, Middle part Bobbin Thread, Another part top color…

equal parts all three should be!

———————————————————

Different Fabrics will change it some, or needles, or thickness of Threads.

Stabilizer will make the most Difference in a Design.

If doing T-shirts Use a cut a way medium, and

about a 75/or 80 needle. to help the fabric to stay in place use a touch of Adhesive on the Stabilizer then hoop, it will keep the shirt from being pushed over the Stabilizer. or Baste it. but it will move from the Push and pull of the Fabric. no matter how tight you hoop it!

No design can be perfect…the Variants change to much, but when I hoop a hundred of something I can get the same out come on each one if I do all that can be done to prevent the problems..

Small Lettering or Font work- use the smallest needle you can get and go to a thread company and find some 50Wt. and you will be so glad you did. just stock the 8 main colors at first. then ad as you would like too.

Unzipping Designs

Never Unzip from your email program!!!!!!

The email program will make some of them become Corrupt! this is not a Problem from the Digitizer. If you do these quick Steps you will never have any problems…

click Save Attachments/ select a folder on your Hard drive.

Example:

C/.Click here!!

     ….Purchased designs

     ….Azilembroidery

         ….Art Deco

Save each Zipped file into there  own folder…

From there you can double click the Zipped file

and save the single designs and CCJPG files to this folder..

1.You know where you got that design, and you still have the Zipped file, if one design ever gets Corrupt or deleted by mistake?  you still have the Zipped set. Just unzip and you are good to go. This Day and Time the Hard Drives are so large! save the files it will payoff one day.

Also I very strongly advise you to BACK UP your computers; Memory Sticks; external Hard Drives.  Even CD’s that you have purchased along the way.

In other words have a 2nd or even a 3rd copy of EVERYTHING that you own.
